How employee ownership works at Torchbox
100% of our business is owned by our Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) on behalf of all of the employees. It's what's called 'indirect ownership'. No one has any shares themselves, instead the Trust owns the shares on our behalf. This means there's no problem when people join or leave.
Our approach to AI in recruitment
We use AI tools internally as part of our work, we support our clients to use them thoughtfully, and we know many candidates will use them too. When used well, AI can be a helpful support tool, not a replacement for human thinking, creativity or judgement.
We encourage you to use AI tools during our recruitment process but what matters most to us is how you use them, not whether you use them at all.
We ask that candidates:
- Use AI tools ethically and responsibly
- Are honest and transparent about how they’ve used them
- Ensure any work submitted reflects their own thinking, experience and understanding
Our recruitment decisions are always made by people. We’re interested in your skills, your curiosity, and how you approach problems, not in catching you out for using modern tools.
