About the Website of the Year Awards
Now in its sixth year, the Website of the Year Awards aim to recognise the very best websites across 19 different categories, including Education, Charities, Leisure & Travel and Sports. Different to other award schemes, Website of the Year award winners are solely determined by the public - last year more than 119,000 votes were placed!

1) Museum of London (Best Travel & Leisure Website)
Our brief was to reinterpret the Museum of London's brand for the contemporary digital space. Working with the Museum of London team, we have created a beautiful, user friendly website which recently picked up the 'Best Design' award at the WebAwards.

2) University of Oxford (Best Career & Education Website)
Seven years after our original redevelopment of www.ox.ac.uk, the University of Oxford commissioned us to rebuild its site on Drupal. 3) Royal Agricultural University (Best Career & Education Website)
The Royal Agricultural University required a brand new website to effectively compete in the global higher education market. The site needed to be responsive, easy-to-navigate and beautifully designed. Using a user first approach, we delivered such a site which engages users and provides them with the best possible experience.

4) Royal College of Art (Best Career & Education Website)
We were pretty chuffed to be appointed by the Royal College of Art to oversee its website redevelopment. The art college wanted a new website which would reflect the vibrant life of its pre-eminent school. To achieve the objectives, we built a bespoke open-source content management system, which we later released as Wagtail.

5) Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (Best Charity Website)
We worked with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust to transform an old, complex to navigate, unresponsive website into a beautiful, visually engaging website which encourages user exploration and engagement. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust site effectively promotes the charity’s main exhibitions and it recently picked up an 'Outstanding Website' award at the WebAwards.

6) Mencap (Best Charity Website)
Mencap is the leading voice of learning disabilities, providing people with services and support to live the life they choose. Built on Drupal 8, the new Mencap website has been completely redesigned to place a greater focus on providing users with information, support, and access to local services.

7) Independent Age (Best Charity Website)
As we get older, we all want to remain independent and live life on our own terms. Independent Age's new website provides older people with all the information and support they need to achieve this. Built on Drupal 8, Independent Age's new website was recently named Website of the Month, by Choice Magazine (the essential magazine for over 50s). Visit the website
8) Meningitis Now (Best Charity Website)
Hearing that someone you love has Meningitis can be extremely daunting. When we were asked to overhaul Meningitis Now's online offering, we knew that we needed to deliver a site which would allow users to access the information they need quickly. 9) Chatham House (Best Charity Website)
We were delighted to be commissioned to redevelop the Chatham House website as a platform for independent and rigorous analysis of critical global, regional and country-specific challenges. The result is a site that can comfortably and competently appeal to its primary audience of decision-makers and political influencers.

10) British Swimming (Best Sports Website)
At the end of March 2016 we launched the new British Swimming website on Wagtail. Sporting a modern responsive design, the website showcases the depth and breadth of British talent. In the month following launch, visits to the site were higher than at any time before and the bounce rate had dropped from 50% to 22%.
