Amil Vasishtha
I lead complex projects that create meaningful social impact and lasting change. I’m motivated by making a difference, and enjoy working with people who put humans first and outcomes at the heart of what they do.
I have extensive experience working with charities and nonprofits, with a focus on championing end-users and keeping the end goal at the centre of every project. With over 10 years in the tech space, I’ve led multi-disciplinary teams through discovery, usability, and delivery, taking projects from concept to launch.
Before recently joining Torchbox, I had the privilege of working with organisations such as the British Council, Greenpeace, and the CHS Alliance, on internal data dashboards, digital campaigning, and large CRM integrations. In 2024, I supported Labour UK’s general election, launching five digital campaigning tools in just four weeks. Whatever the project, I balance the needs of the target audience and organisation’s objectives.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, gaming, going for walks, going to the gym, and cooking. I’m currently trying to teach myself the harmonica, but it’s not as easy as I’d hoped! On weekends, you’ll find me walking in the wetlands or woods, enjoying a coffee and crossword, or eating out around London.
