I work in the support team helping clients keep their websites up to date and secure, and troubleshooting any problems they may experience.

We have a support system in place that clients use to contact us easily and it enables us to respond quickly. A typical day could involve working on a handful of support cases that range from general questions about best practice with an existing feature, giving advice on how we could implement something new to help them enhance their website, or assist with any issues they may have.

As a Support Developer I’m able to use the skills I’ve gained over many years working in website design and development, particularly with Wagtail CMS. There’s always something new to learn and I really enjoy that too.

It’s a great feeling when a client responds with thanks after working with them on a fix for an issue: then it’s time for a cuppa and pick up the next support ticket!

Family is probably the most important thing for me now. My first grandchild arrived this year - that’s a whole new experience and focus!

Playing the keyboard is something I love to do as often as I can. Music of all genres from classical to pop (especially the 70's) and boogie woogie.
