We're delighted to announce that an influx of talented personnel have joined Torchbox recently, adding to our fantastic team in Bristol and Charlbury. Allow us to introduce...

Maya Gibbs - Project Manager

"I joined Torchbox from another digital agency in Bristol, which specialised in charities, nonprofits and NGOs. After spending over 2 years there as Project Manager, the opportunity to join Torchbox presented itself, of which I couldn't refuse. I'm really looking forward to furthering myself & making a positive difference in this field."

Jason Williams - Business Development Manager

"Before backpacking for a year or so, I was a Business Development Manager at Motivation Charitable Trust for three years in Bristol and Nairobi, where I developed new forms of sustainable income and led on the development and launch of a racing wheelchair at London 2012. When I wasn't racing about in wheelchairs or playing wheelchair basketball, I was kick-starting a mini digital revolution and shouting 'CRM' in colleagues faces."

Paul Rose - Operations Manager

"Before joining Torchbox, I worked for seven years at a digital agency in Buckinghamshire, where I had been almost since its inception. I joined as Events Manager, organising B2B client events in the tech sector across Europe. As the company grew, I started to transition across to operations, and in the last couple of years I led the adoption of a new workflow management system, increased delivery efficiency and streamlined operational procedures. I am really looking forward to getting my teeth into the resourcing challenges at Torchbox and making a positive difference to our overall efficiencies".

Toby Brancher - Front-End Developer

"I've been building UIs for a range of designers and agencies looking to do something different on the internet and within native applications for the past 11 years. During my career so far I've worked with some of the most passionate developers around the world at agencies such as AKQA and IRIS Digital, have evangelised best practice at Nokia in Berlin, and set up a beautiful co-op workspace in Wales."

Victoria Chan - Drupal Developer

"In April 2014, I gave birth to a baby boy and spent the year handling this difficult client with sketchy requirements, creeping scope, poor communication skills, and who'd demand changes without giving adequate notice, and is prone to outbursts. I'm really glad to be back to working with reasonable clients."

We're excited to see what each of them bring to Torchbox. If you see them around - please say hello!
