CIFF Grant Portfolio

CIFF (Children’s Investment Fund Foundation) have embraced transparency by presenting their grant portfolio through visual graphs, which allows users to see exactly how money has been spent tackling issues including child nutrition, health and education.

Each time a grant page is updated, added or removed by an editor, the totals are recalculated and the bar chart updates.

Upshot

Upshot, the Football Foundation’s grant impact monitoring and evaluation system, started off as a project to make data collection easier. The system, which collects information on how grants are being used by community projects, has now grown into a service adopted by banks, local councils and other charities to monitor their own projects.
