Joe Honywill
As a service designer I focus on people (users) to ensure we keep them at the heart of everything we do. Without users, we don’t have a service or a product with any purpose.
My role is to help teams and clients take a zoomed-out view, and instead of focusing on pixels or screen designs, we work together to look at the big picture - what happens before, during and after those pixels and screens.
My journey to service design at Torchbox has taken more than 25 years of working in digital design. Including working for government departments, universities and colleges as an employee, freelance designer and consultant.
When I’m not working, I'll most likely be - riding my motorbike, listening to golden age hip hop, buying trainers (particularly those first released during the golden age of hip hop), watching sport or talking to my cat, Gobbolena.
