Tom joined Torchbox in 2017 as an Account Director, bringing a range of experience in website optimisation and digital strategy.
With a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Creative Writing, Tom's first career was in London’s literary agencies. After making the switch to digital, Tom worked on content optimisation at Booking.com and digital strategy for Amazon Kindle. He then went agency-side in the South West, leading strategic consultancy with clients including Google, Qualcomm and Microsoft, before finding his way to Torchbox.
Other career highlights include working at Burger King, serving drinks in London bars, and teaching in a primary school in Belize.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing bike polo, writing stories, travelling to warm places and rummaging through second-hand book shops.
