After getting her degree in Electrical Engineering, Marni worked for 12 years at technology startups and Fortune 500s across Austin and Los Angeles. Inspired by Barack Obama’s speech at SXSW, she joined the City of Austin in 2016 to lead a new model for how local governments can design and deliver services for residents.
She’s continued the work of shaping the internet to make the world a better place by helping start The Policy Lab at Brown University and joining Torchbox as our first Product Director in the United States
Marni and her partner live in the breakfast taco capital of Texas with their daughter, cat, and two chickens. They dance to Taylor Swift, build large signs about social causes, and make a mean ceviche.
