Since working for Torchbox, some of the programmes that I have led on include the Oxfam GB digital transformation project; collaboratively shaping a new vision for their digital presence, deepening their engagement with their supporters and as a result achieving their goals of increasing their donation conversion rate. Also with Wharton Interactive taking an idea and turning it into reality using rapid discovery and prototyping and ultimately culminating in bringing a marketplace for interactive learning experiences to the world.
Throughout my product and UX career (which is over 15 years now!) I've always sought out opportunities that enable positive change; spending most of my product career in health tech, education and research, and the charity sector.
I never fail to be excited by the possibility of creating something completely new that can solve a problem and in doing so make people's lives better. I am fascinated by human behaviour and love to collaborate and support team members to thrive as product people.
I am obsessed with running and have recently started to dabble with ultra marathons. Afterwards I like nothing more than to undo all my good work with a beer in my local pub.
