Torchbox is the digital partner for many of the best, most progressive organisations in the world. We’ve become the digital marketing specialists for many of the biggest charities in the UK; we build digital products for international NGOs, governments and universities; and we created the Wagtail CMS, used by Google, NASA, the NHS and thousands more.

This is a great time to join us. We were the first digital agency to become a 100% Employee Owned Trust, and became financially independent in July this year. This frees us to invest all our profits into our employees and make a positive impact on society.

We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team!

Our Delivery Managers exist to increase value for team members, Torchbox and our clients. We aim to create a culture and environment that enables teams to thrive, collaborate, and produce impactful work. Our Senior Delivery Managers run our largest and most complex projects and programmes of work.

You will spend your time managing the delivery of user-centred digital services, inspiring teams by helping them connect their contributions to the missions of our amazing clients. You will primarily focus on managing projects in our rapidly expanding US portfolio. You’ll be an adept Agile practitioner with excellent facilitation and coaching skills, who can respond quickly to change and make sense of ambiguity. You will use your experience as an Agile delivery or project manager to remove obstacles, manage risks, communicate progress and ensure excellence.

Although not essential, we’re particularly interested in hearing from you if you have experience working with globally distributed teams.

Our Senior Delivery Managers have the following skills:

  • Authentic facilitators who quickly build trust and commitment

  • Organisation ninjas who love fast-paced agency environments

  • Ethical and inclusive team leaders with natural presence

  • Highly technically literate, able to contribute to and translate technical discussions

  • Commercially aware, balancing the needs of the client, the team and Torchbox

  • Adaptable and creative with delivery techniques, processes and tools

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to be a co-owner of Torchbox, shaping and sharing in our success. Be a partner, not just an employee. Our Voice Groups provide the chance to share your vision within Torchbox.

  • The chance to work with our brilliant clients, making the world a better place

  • Competitive salary with annual review with annual employee owners and performance bonus

  • Training and conference budget to accelerate your development.

  • Flexible working hours; the option to work fully remotely, split your time between office and home, or choose to be in one of our offices fulltime, enabling you to work in a flexible way that best suits your needs.

  • Free eye tests, flu jabs & shopping discounts

  • Private health scheme and access to mental health support

  • Ethical pension scheme, with a 5% contribution from Torchbox

  • Electric car salary sacrifice scheme (UK only)

  • Wellness programme and cycle to work scheme, alongside other Torchbox offerings, good for both you and the environment.

  • Regular virtual and in-person events, weekly veggie team lunch (when we’re in the office)  & parties including our famous Torchfest

  • 27 days holiday, plus public holidays

** This is made up of a base salary £43,875 - £60,500 and a bonus of £10,181 - £12,675. The bonus comprises a (tax free!) £3.6k EOT payment and a company profit share. The bonus is paid in two tranches. The profit share can be higher or lower based on company performance.
