We are looking for a QA Lead  to join our team!

We pride ourselves on quality at Torchbox and are looking for a QA Lead who will entrench QA best practices in our organisation, support and coach existing team members to plan and perform watertight testing and manage the QA process for complex web applications. 

To be successful in this role you'll:

  • Define a best-practice QA strategy for our organisation and repeatable process to follow to further our quality-driven culture while retaining the agility to move fast

  • Be able to create and execute full test strategies and plans for complex applications and suitable acceptance criteria 

  • Define benchmark performance metrics and our approach for ensuring all products meet our performance standards from the first release in collaboration with our Product leads 

  • Coach delivery and tech team members on QA best practices

  • Bring technical proficiency and experience of both automated and manual testing practices in order to execute test cases - effectively detecting and reporting bugs and supporting the team to reach rapid resolution

  • Be the voice of QA and testing at Torchbox and proactively and collaboratively ensure best practices are upheld and continuously improved upon

Desirable experience

  • Proven experience as a QA Lead or QA Tester

  • Familiarity with Agile, QA (manual and automated) and regression testing methodologies

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficient knowledge of test management software

** This is made up of a base salary of £43,875 - £69,300 and a bonus of £10,181 - £13,995. The bonus comprises a (tax free!) £3.6k EOT bonus and a company performance bonus. The bonus is paid in two tranches. The company bonus can be higher or lower based on company performance.
