We are looking for a Product Director to join our team!

The Product Director plays a leading role in discovering, launching and optimizing high-value products and services in partnership with world-leading not-for-profit organisations and government bodies. This role will be primarily focussed on our US client base. You will collaborate with clients to define a compelling vision and strategy and lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. 

As a senior member of the Torchbox team you will be responsible for the strategic direction of a portfolio of clients and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Torchbox.

Core responsibilities

  • Client experience: Making sure our clients have a great experience working with us and we provide a level of service that reflects our values and ethos. You will foster long-term strategic partnerships based on trust, working in the open and continuous feedback. 

  • Product strategy and discovery: Establishing and championing a clear vision and goals. Creating and optimising products that are valuable, viable, usable, feasible. Facilitating key planning, ideation and research activities to understand organisational objectives and balancing these against customer/user needs and expectations.

  • Leading agile project teams: Inspiring, guiding and supporting team members to efficiently deliver high-quality, high-impact products, with oversight of multiple delivery teams and product development portfolios. 

  • Helping Torchbox grow: Contribute to winning new work with existing and new partners through sharing widely, identifying opportunities to create value, leading on proposals and pitches, shaping and estimating new large-scale product development initiatives and managing associated contracting. 

Desirable

  • Proven ability to define compelling product strategies and deliver high-performing products and experiences that have positive impact, ideally with not-for-profits, government bodies, healthcare organisations or in higher education. 

  • Experience shaping roadmaps and associated measurement frameworks to optimize products for their target customer base

  • Building strategic client relationships, influencing stakeholders, directing a portfolio of clients and their associated products, and capitalising on opportunities to expand on work together

  • Leading and motivating multi-disciplinary delivery teams by championing your vision and fostering a culture of continuous feedback

  • A confident and engaging presenter, who can ideas and proposals and leading pitches for new business

  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to forecast accurately and tightly manage large budgets

**This is made up of a base salary £49,500 - £77,000 and a bonus of £11,025 - £15,150. The bonus comprises a (tax free!) £3.6k EOT payment and a company profit share. The bonus is paid in two tranches. The profit share can be higher or lower based on company performance.
