Torchbox's 2015 resolutions
We asked the team members at Torchbox what their resolutions were for 2015, and some of them told us.
Pete - Get fit and run two half-marathons. More yoga. Give up cheese for January. Give up alcohol until March 11. Finish reading 20 books over the year.
Olly - Meditate every day. Cycle to work one hundred times this year. Give up sugar. Do 'marriage night' on Wednesdays (hat tip to @jwebster).
Tom D - Eat less meat. Write a short story. Climb a big French mountain on my bike.
Justine - Lunge more. Less sugar. Start the veggie patch I've been meaning to for three years now.
Rob C - Learn something new. Get more awesome at Marketing. Spend more time on improving my house. Get back to exercising regularly.
Jonny - Read a minimum of 25 books, visit 3 new countries, learn a new skill, gym four times a week, spend less time staring at screens.
Dan - Cycle more. Learn something new. Play more.
James M - Not to share my resolutions.
Karl - Finish developing a game. Learn more Japanese. Do more exercise.
Tom S - Vegan January. Cycle from Cornwall to Scotland. Complete a personal project using Wagtail/Django.
Kate - Read 52 books. Complete first year Jedi training. Get fitter.
Phil - Indoctrinate Dylan into my way of thinking re. music. Keep sourdough starter alive for the whole year.
Helen W - Strength training with the aim of doing kettle bell classes with no kettle bells less than 12kg. Become much better acquainted with my cordless drill. Phnar Phnar.
Chris W - Go to Man Choir on Thursday at 19:00. Pass the AdWords display and video exams. Host an a capella sea shanty night. Reach my target weight by Bloomsday. Give at least 2% of my income to charity. Go to the Coburg samba festival in Germany. Play at Notting Hill Carnival with the London School of Samba. Watch Shakespeare at The Globe Theatre. Join Zappi's cycling club. Go swimming at Charlton lido. Cycle to work for a whole week. Go swimming at work. Swim in a Snowdonian llyn (tarn). Learn how to dive. Learn long-distance open water front crawl.
Paul V - Start composing music again. Average 12.5k swimming a week. Get better at switching off so as to attain a state of zen-like calm and stop biting fingernails (been on list for 33 years, only RH index finger left to conquer).
Dave H - Go on six overnight micro adventures. Learn to play one new song a fortnight. Use the standing desk for at least one hour each day.
Ged - Get back to how fit I was in 2007 (use the same training programme, compare logs. Match the numbers by May. Beat them by August. Maintain until December). Stop going to the deli for lunch. Have a day out with my dad.
